
The holidays should be a time of warmth and comfort, but for many Chicago families, this season can bring added stress as they struggle to put food on the table. With rising living costs and recent changes to Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits, many households in Chicago and across the nation are facing increased food insecurity.
This holiday season, Pearson Realty Group is once again proud to host our Annual Food Drive in collaboration with PRG Management, to support Greater Chicago Food Depository and help fight hunger across Chicago. We’re collecting canned and non-perishable food donations right here at our office, and every item you bring makes a difference for families in need. Donation item and drop-off information can be found below:
What To Donate
The Greater Chicago Food Depository is seeking donations the following shelf-stable items:
- Canned Goods: Beans, Chili/Soup, Vegetables, Fruit, Meat
- Non-Perishables & Dry Goods: Peanut Butter, Rice, Oats, Pasta, etc.
- Boxed meals & pantry staples
Note: Please avoid items in glass containers, as these will not be accepted.
Donation Drop-Off Location & Information
- Where: 1000 N Milwaukee Ave, Suite #200, Chicago, IL (Pearson Realty Group office)
- When: Monday-Friday, 9 AM – 5 PM
Please stop by our office during business hours to drop off your donations. The cut-off date for collecting donations is Monday, November 24th.
